I don’t want to make this a complaints thread, although I could easily do that, but last night I caught the train for the first time for a while. It was quite an unpleasant experience as there was a signal fault at Caulfield, and the train was kept waiting at the station for half an hour. Whilst I understand that problems like this do crop up (even though they shouldn’t), Connex did nothing to update passengers on what was going on or how they were solving the problem. Everyone was frustrated and trying to figure out what was going on and Connex could only tell us that the train was delayed due to a signal fault. It’s just not good enough!
