Yesterday I was in Lygon Street where they were going to have a little display of classic motor cars, but unfortunately the weather was horrible so only a handful of cars were there. Fortunately there were a couple of Jaguar D Types.

Here are a few Magpie related cartoons from former Sun (or was it Herald) cartoonist Jeff Hook. Even though these were from decades ago they are also relevant for the last couple of months.
This one is from after the first Grand Final in 1977. As I said, the H-un could have reused this one again a month ago.
This one is from 44 years ago when St Kilda won their first and only premiership.
This one is from just before the first 1977 grand final and is a favourite of mine. 1977 was the first grand final to be telecast live on TV.
This is from 1990. Believe it or not I think that Pies fans have been much noisier this year than back when we last won the big one.
