As Christmas 2009 comes to an end I thought that I would post some Christmas covers of the Saturday Evening Post, featuring the iconic depictions of Santa Claus by Norman Rockwell. I believe that most of the come from the 1920s.
There is a myth that Coca Cola and Haddom Sundblom created the moderb image of Father Christmas, but as can be seen here, Rockwell was portraying him in the way we now know a decade before Coke did.
