I think that a new order being established on the Formula 1 grid for 2009. After the first qualifying session of the new season we have Brawn GP, Red Bull and Williams all looking strong, whilst McLaren and Renault are really struggling. I’m not sure where Ferrari are in the mix, as they seemed fast all weekend, but when the time came they were not fast enough to challenge the Brawns. I was a little disappointed with the Toyotas during period 3 of qualifying as I thought they’s sweep the second row of the grid, but perhaps they are concentrating more on their race strategy.

- Robert Kubica – BMW Sauber
- Nico Rosberg – Williams Toyota
- Timo Glock – Toyota
- Felipe Massa – Ferrari
- Jarno Trulli – Toyota
- Kimi Raikkonen – Ferrari
- Mark Webber – Red Bull Renault
- Nick Heidfeld – BMW Sauber
- Fernando Alonso – Renault
- Kazuki Nakajimi – Williams Toyota
- Heikki Kovalainen – McLaren Mercedes
- Lewis Hamilton – McLaren Mercedes
- Sebastien Buemi – Scuderia Toro Rosso Ferrari

My predictions for the race is that the Brawns will dominate. They are just so much faster than everyone else at the moment. I think that the start may be a bit chaotic, with the KERS runners using their extra horsepower boost from the lights and jumping ahead of a few teams ahead of them, but I expect the Red Bulls, Toyotas and Rosberg’s Williams to be challenging for the final podium position.
