Robin Hoodlum

Robin Hoodlum was the first commercially released cartoon from UPA. Columbia decided to distribute the UPA cartoons instead of their own Columbia Screen Gems ones. They used the Fox and Crow characters that had their own popular series for Screen Gems.

Brotherhood of Man

This is the second film that was made by UPA and is significant in that it was one of the first animated films in which black people were not mere caricatures or stereotypes. This was actually an industrial film made for the United Auto Workers Union in an effort to promote racial harmony and to prepare auto workers for de-segregation (is that a word?) of the auto industry.
