Just a quick post as a follow up to a previous post in which I hypothesized that the Australian cricket selectors were prejudiced against Victorian batsmen. It seems that the person who is first in line for Matthew Hayden’s slot in the team should he fail in the next couple of matches is Michael Klinger, who until this season was a Victorian but now plays for South Australia. It seems that the only way for Victorian batsmen to get a spot in the test team is to move interstate.
